The all terrain stroller was specifically designed for parents who enjoy nature and wandering off the beaten path - hence, the term, off road strollers. The all terrain stroller system has a front wheel that swivels for easier maneuvering on smoother surfaces but can be locked for use on rougher surfaces. While the 3 wheel stroller design mimics jogging strollers, all terrain strollers shouldn't be used for running unless the user's manual specifically says you can.
